Mr. Joe Siino
Joe Siino has served students and families at St. Peter Martyr School for over 40 years. He attended Catholic school from first grade at St. Peter Martyr, to De la Salle High School, and on to St. Mary’s College Moraga. He believes in the school’s mission to prepare children to be God-centered, socially aware citizens, and lifelong learners. He fully supports the complete education of the child including their religious, academic, social-emotional, and physical needs. He feels blessed and honored to have impacted the lives of so many during his time guiding the families at St. Peter Martyr School.

Ms. Alexis Cazes
Ms. Alexis Cazes is currently the Preschool/Prekindergarten/Kindergarten Teacher at the school of St. Peter Martyr. This is Ms. Cazes first year being part of the school’s staff, where she strives to educate students to become God-centered, love learning and to be creative learners.
Ms. Cazes is from Pittsburg, California born and raised. Now raising her two children here and going to the school of Saint Peter Martyr. In her free time she enjoys traveling and the outdoors with her family, making memories. Being creative, making things, movies and reading good books.

Mrs. Lisa Bento
Mrs. Lisa Mejia-Bento is currently the First and Second Grade teacher at St. Peter Martyr School. Mrs. Bento joined the staff in 2018, where she is preparing students in their journey toward Jesus, making two sacraments, First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Mrs. Bento grew up in San Francisco and Daly City- a city girl. Married for 20 years with two wonderful children in their 20's, YLI member, who enjoys family time together, and has a dream to visit Portugal.

Mr. Mert Ozel
Mr. Mert Ozel is currently the 3rd Grade Teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Mr. Ozel has been part of the school staff for 2 years, where he strives to educate students to become God-centered, socially aware, lifelong learners. Mr. Ozel was born and raised in the ancient church city of Smyrna, today's Izmir/Turkey which allowed him to familiarize himself with the early teachings of Christianity. He is also a professional singer/songwriter who composed our school song. He is married and has a son and a daughter.

Ms. Tanzinea Collier
Ms. Tanzinea Collier is currently the 4th grade teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Ms. Collier has been part of the school’s staff for 4 years, where she strives to continue to give students the academic, spiritual, and social/ emotional skills to become the newest, functioning, contributing members of our society. Ms. Collier was born in San Diego, California, but raised in the Bay Area- beginning in Hayward, and then rooted in Antioch. CA. Beyond her love for children, she enjoys organizing and decorating spaces. In her free time, she likes to travel, listen to music, and spend time with her friends and family, especially her newborn baby boy.

Ms. Heather English
Ms. Heather English is currently the Fifth Grade Teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Ms. English has been part of the school’s staff since 2017, where she strives to bring life to lessons through experiential learning.
Ms. English has lived all over the United States and in Europe, but returned to the East Bay eight years ago to continue her work in education. With a passion for many forms of art and world cultures, Ms. English enjoys using these subjects to teach compassion for others. In her free time, Ms. English enjoys glassblowing, world travel, and theater.

Mr. Will Grebe is currently the sixth grade teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Mr. Grebe has been part of the school’s staff for 2 years, where he strives to promote the robotics team as well as educate students to become lifelong learners.
Mr. Grebe is from Concord, California and attended college in Worcester, Massachusetts. With a passion for robotics and engineering, Mr. Grebe is the mentor/coach for the St. Peter Martyr Robotics team. In his free time, Mr. Grebe enjoys cooking and spending time poolside.

Mrs. Katie Wilson is currently the 7th Grade Teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Mrs. Wilson has been part of the school's staff of seven, where she strives to educate the whole child body, mind and spirit. She wants all of her students to be socially aware Christ-centered people who never give up learning new things.
Mrs. Wilson is from Pittsburg, California. She is an alumnus of St. Peter Martyr and is grateful for the opportunity to be back here teaching. In her spare time Mrs. Wilson enjoys reading, playing with her dogs and spending time with her family.

Mr. Joe Lozano is currently the 8th Grade Teacher at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Mr. Lozano has been part of the school’s staff for 5 years, where he strives to educate students to become God-centered, socially aware, lifelong learners.
Mr. Lozano is from Pittsburg, California, which allowed him to be a student at St. Peter Martyr School. With a passion for sports and the school, he is also a coach to the school’s basketball teams and the liaison for it’s Student Council. He also enjoys traveling and the outdoors.
|Dr. Marilyn Brouette
Dr. Marilyn Brouette
Dr. Marilyn Brouette is currently the music teacher at St. Peter Martyr School. Dr. Brouette has taught preschool through eighth grade music and two choirs for 23 years at St. Peter Martyr. She believes music positively impacts the neurological development of children and music literacy is the right of every student. Dr. Brouette strives to instill students with a love for music and God and provide a comprehensive music program including performing arts education, music theory and music history.
Dr. Brouette is a clinician for the International Kodály Society and the International Society of Music Education and combines this summer activity with her passion for travel and has had the opportunity to visit 45 countries. In her spare time, she is in the garden, the pool or on a Bocce court.

Mr. Adrian “Adi” S. Castillo is currently the PE Teacher and Athletic Director at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Mr. Castillo has been part of the school’s staff for 19 years, where he strives to educate students to make good choices, follow the rules, help, respect, and listen to others.
Mr. Castillo is from Pittsburg, California, which allowed him to be a student at St. Peter Martyr School. With a passion for sports and the school, he is also an instructional assistant for the 3rd, 4th, and 8th grade class. He also enjoys going to the beach in the summer and watching either the Golden State Warriors or San Francisco 49ers games on TV.

Kathy Cavallero is currently an instructional assistant for grades 1/2 at St. Peter Martyr School. Kathy Cavallero has been part of the school's staff for 16 years, where she strives to teach the whole child, mind and spirit.
Kathy Cavallero is from Concord, CA. She attended Queen of All Saints School and Carondelet High School and appreciates the values and education given at Catholic Schools. She is married and has 3 children that graduated from St. Peter Martyr School. She loves to her animals and camping.

Ms. Dee Voight is currently the Librarian/Instructional Assistant at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Ms.Voight has been part of the school’s staff for two years, and an employee of the Diocese of Oakland for 21 years. Ms. Voight strives to bring the love of reading to all students, and enjoys being part of a classroom environment, working together with the teachers and students.
Ms. Dee was born in Philadelphia, but has lived in this area of California most of her life. She is a life-long Catholic and her two daughters attended Catholic schools. She is active in her church. She is an enthusiastic 49ers, Giants, and Warriors fan. She enjoys baking, knitting, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.

Ms. Louanne Grillo is currently the Secretary at the School of St. Peter Martyr. Ms. Grillo has been part of the school staff for 4 years, where she strives to organize our daily office procedures, while ensuring that the communication between our administration and our school families is consistent, respectful and effective.
Ms. Grillo is originally from Pittsburg. She has 3 children who all graduated from St. Peter Martyr School, and 2 grandchildren who currently attend our school. For fun Ms. Grillo likes to attend stage plays & music concerts.
